I was recently awarded-Best Music<\/strong> for a short film at the Bridge Fest Film Awards. <\/strong>The film is The Lady Architect by Moira Simpson and Chris McDowell<\/strong>. June 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I am very excited to report that my current project, The Five Seasons,<\/em><\/strong> has been accepted into the Creative Visions <\/strong>,Los Angeles, organization. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On February 6, I traveled to Seattle, kindly invited by The University of Washington,<\/strong> to attend a screening of the film; The Healing Heart Of Lushootseed <\/strong>and a performance of my Symphony; The Healing Heart Of The First People Of This Land <\/strong>by The University Of Washington Orchestra<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I have just completed an album of piano music. The album is titled Short Stories <\/em><\/strong>and is available@ bruceruddell.bandcamp.com<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On March 7, 2025 <\/strong>the Seattle Symphony<\/strong> performed The Healing Heart Of The First People Of This Land<\/strong> for the second time. The Mark Taper Auditorium in Benaroya Hall<\/strong> was completely sold out- 2500 people experienced the symphony. Here is an audience testimonial: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
